Description
The J.Mourat estate is a vineyard located in the Loire region. J.Mourat covers just over 120 hectares of vines spread over 10 communes, enabling the estate to create many different cuvées. This family-run business, which has been in existence since 1974, is now modernising and intends to convert the entire estate to organic farming.
Chenin de Jardin is made from a single grape variety, simply Chenin. This white wine is grown organically, meaning that no pesticides or insecticides are used to protect the vines from various diseases. Chenin de Jardin is rich in aromas, with apple, pear, flowers, white fruit and even more mineral flavours. When tasted, a lot of freshness, acidity and liveliness emerge, as do flavours of honey and hazelnuts. This dry white wine can be enjoyed with seafood, grilled fish or simply as an aperitif.
