The MD distillery (M for Elodie Monceau and D for Thibault Dombrecht) presents this first Artisanal Gin. Thibault's grandfather made Ratafia de Champagne, and it was by wanting to reconnect with this family know-how that the idea of ​​making a Gin germinated.

From the outset, we will say that this Terre de Glace gin is a real success.

It is subtly powerful and very balanced. It is inspired by a trip to Iceland. Their plan is for each of their journeys to inspire a Batch that they don't refrain from reproducing if the recipe finds its audience.

The nose is marked by the juniper berry which gives this gin all its power. Then, citrus notes (Bergamot and lime), floral notes (rose and lavender) appear. A second nose evokes the world of conifers. In the mouth there is freshness, the citrus notes accompany this sensation, then spicy and vegetal notes take over. The fairly long finish confirms the spicy notes and the impression of freshness at the start of the mouth is confirmed with notes of menthol and eucalyptus.
