This Genever distillery has been established since 1812 in the small commune of Houlle in Hauts de France. In 1942, the Lafoscade distillery became the Persyn distillery, which still bears the same name today. This renowned distillery has an ancestral and traditional knowledge of distillation that has won it world gin awards and world's best genever.

Genever for Long Drink

This genever is unusual in that it has undergone quadruple distillation in the brewery's stills before being aged in oak barrels to refine its taste. Distilled from juniper berries harvested in the surrounding natural parks, its transparent colour reveals all its purity. On the nose, juniper berries dominate, followed by hints of cereals and lots of sweetness. On the palate, there's plenty of freshness with notes of spice and citrus. Genever for Long Drink won the world's best gin competition in 2021. You can enjoy this coal gin in cocktails, neat, or on the rocks.
