Description

Château Sérilhan is a Cru Bourgeois Supérieur from Saint-Estèphe. The vines are located not far from Château Calon-Ségur, Les Ormes de Pez, Château de Pez and Château Lilian-Ladouys. In this 2018 vintage, 54% Merlot, 41% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc coexist very harmoniously.

Château Sérilhan Saint-Estèphe Cru Bourgeois Supérieur 2018 is a very nice success typical of a seductive Bordeaux wine opening with aromas of blackberry and cherry, cedar wood and cocoa, as well as notes of smoke and wood. We also find in a more discreet way an evocation of violet flower but also a hint of salinity and iodine.

On the palate, this Saint-Estèphe offers a very precise range of notes of small, ripe red and black fruits, a present but not aggressive acidity, refined, silky tannins and a creamy texture, the finish is very long.
