This 8th Opus of the Experimental range of Christian DROUIN calvados offers a 17-year-old calva from the Pays d'Auge finished in ex Barbados Foursquare rum barrels.

Description

As part of its Experimental range, Christian DROUIN offers a 17-year-old Pays d'Auge calvados finished in Barbados rum barrels from the FOURSQUARE distillery . As a result, this Calvados Experimental presents a lot of aromatic intensity, the amber rum brings notes of brown sugar, caramel and vanilla which are clearly found on the nose, to which are added notes of ripe fruit such as apple and pear. The palate is rich, round and full of exotic fruits, then the notes of cocoa and vanilla take over. It brings us, quite surprisingly, to notes of fruit including almonds.
