This Porto Tawny Burmester first ages in oak casks. We then proceed to an assembly of 4 years. As a result of aging and redoxing in oak barrels, "the Pipas", the robe, initially ruby red, turns to tawny and the aromas of fresh fruit evolve into nuances of dried fruit. Burmester Porto is one of the stars of the Tawnies with the Tawny by DirK Nieeport.
