Genièvre de Houlle Cuvée XIV Oaked Barrel. This Genièvre de Houlle Cuvée XIV is a particular blend of old Genièvres, always the same from one year to the next, which gives it characteristics closer to a "grain alcohol aged in oak barrels", which is the definition of 'another spirit .....' whiskey 'than a traditional gin. We find the aromas of the bay of juniper attack in the mouth, but very fleetingly, five seconds. Then, it works in the mouth and only in the mouth on very evolutive and persistent aromas. It is therefore consumed as a good whiskey, both as an aperitif and digestive, at room temperature.
