Description
Labrot & Graham's Woodford Reserve Double Oak is handcrafted in a distillery in Woodford County, Kentucky. This Bourbon is matured twice in heavily toasted white oak casks, then in new oak casks that have been toasted twice and then very lightly toasted, to bring out the natural juices of the wood.
The transition to this second cask gives this Bourbon Woodford Reserve an extra soul of character and roundness. It begins with a beautiful amber colour, followed by a nose marked by black fruit, caramel, honey, chocolate and marzipan, and a palate of vanilla, caramel, hazelnut and spices.
