Arran Peated Machrie Moor Highlands Arran Single Malt Whiskey, Colour: Pale yellow. Nose: Precise, rigorous Mouth: Fine. The peat and smoke have disappeared, and juicy fruit dominates. Finish: Condensed from the nose and palate, it adds coconut and aniseed. All in all, it is reminiscent of fine lace. The empty glass is impressively peaty and surprising with its notes of fern, cedar and laurel.

Arran Peated Machrie Moor Highlands Arran Single Malt Whiskey. Color: Pale yellow. Nose: Precise, rigorous. Palate: Fine. The peat and smoke are gone, juicy fruits dominate. Final: Condensed from the nose and mouth, it adds coconut and anise. All around, it evokes a fine lace. The empty glass is impressive with peat and surprising with its notes of fern, thuja and laurel. In the western part of the Isle of Arran is a peat field called "Machrie Moor". This is where, according to legend, the giant Fingal tied his favorite dog, Bran, to a raised stone. This peated version, matured in bourbon barrels of the Arran single malt called Machrie Moor, celebrates this legend.
