Description
Bas Armagnac Jean Cavé Millésime 1980 is an exceptional spirit made from the finest Gascon vines. It has been carefully aged in old oak casks, allowing it to develop a rich, complex flavour over the years. This vintage is unique to 1980 and has not been blended with others, thus retaining its distinctive characteristics.
Its colour is a beautiful amber with copper highlights, brilliant and limpid. On the nose, it reveals woody aromas with notes of vanilla, cocoa and sweet spices, finishing with a complex rancio. On the palate, the attack is frank and round, with rich but not aggressive tannins. The finish is marked by intense notes of toasted wood, offering great complexity.
