This 1973 Armagnac results from the blending of brandy, from Armagnac and Bas-Armagnac. the eaux-de-vie are aged in oak barrels from the Pays de Gascon in the cellars of the Maison Jean Cavé in Lannepax. ARMAGNAC dates back to the Middle Ages and was used to revive the sick and as an antidote against the flu. In 1883 Jean Cavé created his house of ARMAGNAC in Lannepax, a small country house located in the heart of the region of controlled appellation. For over a hundred years the stock of old ARMAGNACS has been building up.
