This old vintage armagnac from 2012 has not been blended. It is characteristic of a specific year and is taken from the Maison Jean Cavé collection of old vintage armagnacs.
This 1970 Armagnac is the result of blending brandies fromArmagnac and Bas-Armagnac. The brandies are aged in Gascon oak casks in the cellars of Maison Jean Cavé in Lannepax.
ARMAGNAC dates back to the Middle Ages and was used to revive the sick and as an antidote against flu.
In 1883 Jean Cavé set up hisARMAGNAC house in Lannepax, a small bastide in the heart of the AOC region.
For more than a hundred years, the stock of old Armagnacs has been building up. This is what allows this old house to offer you this vintage Armagnac 2012 presented in a wooden box, ideal for a gift in the year of birth or the year marking a special event. For generations, every effort has been made to present the very best Armagnac.
