Ardbeg Corryvreckan is a deep, peppery, amber whisky named after a legendary island off the coast of North Islay.

This whisky is peaty and intense, with dark, mellow flavours.The whisky develops intense spicy and sweet flavours that distinguish it thanks to its maturation in oak casks and then in ex-bourbon casks.Corryvreckan is filtered without chilling to retain as much knowledge, body and depth as possible.

Tasting Ardbeg Corryvrekan Whisky

On the nose, you'll find a range of flavours, starting with tarry notes, followed by creosote and linseed oil, and then an explosion of dark chocolate, blackcurrant and muscovado sugar. On the palate, if you're looking for a deep, mellow whisky, Corryvreckan is just what you're looking for. The finish rises to the surface with a chalky violet.

How should it be served and enjoyed?

Ardbeg Corryvreckan should be drunk neat, with water or 2-3 ice cubes. It is best served at room temperature.
