Deep amber in colour, the nose reveals notes of cinnamon and dark chocolate, as well as bitter angostura. The palate continues with flavours of cinnamon and liquorice. The finish is a fine blend of herbaceous notes and salted butter caramel.

Located on approximately 8 hectares of land in the heart of the Caribbean, not far from Venezuela, on the island of Trinidad, famous for its joie de vivre and festivities. The estate contains not only the distilleries and offices, but also a museum, an art gallery, an auditorium and the group's wine and spirits shop. Their bitter works have been adored for two centuries by every bar, and Angostura went on to conquer the rum market. Several years of research into different ways of fermentation and distillation enabled Angostura to install a more modern distillery than its competitors in 1945, making them autonomous in terms of rum production. More recently, Angostura has invested in improving production and storage facilities. Today, 95% of its production is exported worldwide.
