Description
GIN La Castagne by Franc Tireur is a blend of classic botanicals with chestnuts collected from the forests of Normandy, which are then roasted. The entire blend is distilled in a column still. On the nose, it expresses lively and fresh vegetal notes reminiscent of morning dew, followed by hints of pepper. In the mouth, this gin is dry but exhibits a beautiful sweetness and a lot of roundness, likely attributed to the chestnut. Just like on the nose, the pepper notes come forward, and juniper is present towards the finish.
