Description
Single Malt Whisky MANNOCHMORE 2010, 12 years old by THOMPSON Brothers, is a whisky that spent 12 years in a Hogshead cask, followed by 6 months in a Black Isle Imperial Stout beer cask, imparting a slightly coffee and sweet finish.
This whisky was distilled on June 9, 2010, and then bottled in June 2022. Only 314 bottles were drawn from this unique cask.
The nose of this whisky, selected by Thompson Brothers, evokes citrus notes like mandarin, grapefruit, and lime. There's also a very subtle hint of hops. On the palate, you'll find citrus along with hints of vanilla, salted butter caramel, and a slightly sweet touch of brown sugar and coffee. The finish is somewhat vegetal, reminiscent of celery and tea leaves.
