Tasting Artesia Fût Noir Char 3 Single Malt Whisky

A smooth nose that reveals a gourmet side of vanilla, dried raisins, honey and fresh plums. There are also herbal and medicinal aromas. Finally, there's a hint of pepper and exoticism. The palate is beautifully balanced. The raisins and vanilla make themselves felt, accompanied by a touch of wood, not forgetting the fruity, herbaceous side. Then notes of candied citrus fruit settle on the palate. The finish is long and tender, thanks in particular to the floral notes, while retaining the medicinal and herbal flavours. The sweetness is fruity, with malted barley and sultanas accompanied by praline.
