Description
The Belgian Single Malt GOUDEN CAROLUS Sherry Oak is the result of distilling Gouden Carolus Tripel beer wort. The obtained spirit is aged in oak casks and undergoes a finishing period in American oak casks that previously held Oloroso sherry.
The whisky produced lives up to the initial ambition and the efforts put into it. It's a Belgian single malt whisky with beautiful notes of dried fruits (hazelnut, almond, raisin), vanilla, and cocoa.
Belgium is renowned for its beers, and it's on its way to becoming known for its whisky production as well.
