The Whisky TALISKER PORT RUIGHE Gift Set with 2 Glasses is a wonderful gift idea. You'll appreciate this version of Talisker that has been aged in barrels previously used for Porto. The maritime notes blend perfectly with the fruity notes of Port wine.
When tasting Talisker Port Ruighe, you'll notice on the nose smoky and ripe black fruit notes. The palate starts with pepper and peat, then the Port cask finish comes through with red fruit notes. The finish is smoky and briny, as you would expect from an island like Skye.
The name Port Ruighe pays tribute to the Scottish sailors who ensured the worldwide trade of Port wine.
