OBAN 10-year Special Release 2022. Special Edition Whisky. For this version of Oban, the focus was on initial aging in first-fill American oak casks and then in Amontillado Sherry casks.
The result is a unique whisky for Oban, with a nose that evokes the freshness and fruitiness of green apples, kirsch, wildflowers, and a hint of sea breeze. On the palate, you'll find notes of citrus, candied cherries, cinnamon, wood, and nuts.
The choice of illustration evokes the Northern Lights that can be seen on the coast during a clear winter night in the bay of Oban.
