Description
The 2015 vintage Blanc de Blancs from Maison Louis Roederer is a pure, taut, fine, and brilliant wine. The Chardonnays were selected from the "La Côte" parcel in the Avize terroir, classified as Grand Cru. Depending on the vintage, between 15% and 20% of the Chardonnays are vinified in oak casks, and then the entire blend is aged in the cellar for 5 years.
The nose is intense and delicate, with notes of candied citrus, juicy white fruits, and roasted nuts. The palate is nuanced and subtle, light and airy, revealing flavors of dried fruits, ripe pear, and caramel. It's a cuvée that combines freshness and maturity.
Its length and concentration make it an elegant and wonderful Champagne to pair with seafood, cheese soufflé, fish dishes, raw fish, or shellfish.
It is presented in its complimentary gift box.
