How is Ice Cider produced?
During the harsh Canadian winters, the apple must from various apple varieties is exposed to cold temperatures (as low as -20/-30°C). Then, in January, these highly concentrated musts obtained through cryoextraction are left to ferment. This results in a beverage with an approximate sugar content of 135 g per liter.
It takes 50 apples to produce one bottle of ice cider.
