The Beaune appellation covers 420 hectares, has 42 climats classified as 1er Crus. The Famous Clos des Mouches is a Beaune. This terroir bordered to the north by Savigny-lès-Beaune and Pommard to the south is vast, the expression of Beaune is very variable, the wines from the north of the appellation will be intense while they will be more rounded and supple in the south.
