Japanese Whiskey Hibiki Suntory Whiskey Blend from Japan
Hibiki whiskey is a range of Japanese blend whiskey from the Suntory group.
A Hibiki blend is the result of a blend of malt and grain whiskeys, resulting from aging in different barrels, including the legendary Mizunara, a very rare Japanese oak. It was following the construction in 1971 of the second distillery of the Suntory group, Hakushu (after Yamazaki), that the Hibiki range was created, the Suntory master whiskey blenders benefited from a sufficient variety of whiskey types to come out of the High quality blended whiskeys.
Hibiki whiskeys and their multiple medals
Hibiki is a multi-medalist range in the biggest spirits competitions around the world. When it was created, Hibiki bet on a bottle evoking the world of perfumery, and the 24 sides of the bottle evoke the 24 months of the Japanese lunar calendar.
