Rum Santa Teresa Rum from Venezuela
Rums Santa Teresa traditional rums of molasses
this molasses is particularly purified before distillation, which gives a rum full of lightness and finesse. The Rum Santa Teresa 1796 Solera has been awarded several times as the best rum in the world. The aging of rums in barrels and casks is practiced according to the ancestral method of La Solera, imported to Venezuela by the cultivation of Spanish Sherry / Sherry. The links of this distillery with Spain go back to 1796, the King of Spain Charles IV donated the estate to Conte Tavor y Blanco. In homage to the King and his Infanta, the Conte gave the name of the Infanta of Spain to the Hacienda. In 1885, the estate was bought by the Ribas Vollmer family and then in 1896, a distillery was set up to produce rum .
The sugar estate which supplies the Santa Teresa Rum rises to an altitude of 535 m
At this altitude, the climatic conditions are perfect to produce the ideal sugar cane from which this Venezuelan Santa Teresa rum benefits.
