Rum Séverin Rum Guadeloupe
The Séverin rum distillery produces agricultural rum from Guadeloupe
This magnificent distillery is located in Basse Terre in the town of Sainte Rose. The Séverin distillery was founded in 1928 by Mr Marsolle but is the logical continuation of a story started in 1800 with Mr Séverin who started a sugar cane plantation, then a sugar factory.
The whole Séverin distillery is also a place of tourist visit
During this visit you will see in action one of the last paddle wheels which is still used to operate the sugar cane crushers. As an Agricultural Rum, Séverin rums are only made from fresh sugar cane juice.
