Rum Père Labat Rum from Marie Galante a rum from Guadeloupe

The Poisson domain has been established in Grand Bourg sur Marie Galante, a small island in the south of Guadeloupe since the 1860s. First of all, the domain housed a sugar refinery which then became a distillery in 1916. The rum from this distillery is named Père Labat in reference to the monk who perfected the stills used to make rum in the 18th century. Rhum Père Labat is an agricultural rum, made from 100% freshly crushed sugar cane juice. White Rum, Golden Rum, Old Rum, all of Père Labat's rums appear in the best rankings in the world.
