The Maison des Cognacs de Luze was founded in 1822 by Alfred de Luze
Originally two brothers, Alfred and Louis Philippe set off on an adventure in 1817 to the United States to create an import company there. It is a success and in 1822, Alfred returns to France to ensure the good conformity of the goods sent to his brother. The Cognac de Luze house offers cognacs mainly from Grande Champagne. De Luze is distributed by the Mälher-Besse house, owner of Château Palmer en Margaux, which is a sign of high quality standards.
