Balland Chapuis Loire Valley Wine
Balland Chapuis sustainable viticulture
It is from Bué in the heart of the Sancerre country that the Maison Balland Chapuis originates. Known for its Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé, this Domaine was also one of the great instigators of the development of the Coteaux du Giennois in white and red in the early 2000s.
Balland Chapuis works his vines by promoting natural grassing and limiting any intervention on the vine as much as possible. Each year, a great deal of leaf removal on the Pinots Noirs ensures sanitary quality and optimum ripeness of the grapes.
The Balland Chapuis house produces high quality Loire wines and its reputation crosses hexagonal borders.
