Chateau Maylandie in Corbières is synonymous with quality!
Under the guidance of Jean Maymil and his wife Anne Marie, entire sections of the estate were torn up in order to replant the grape varieties requested by the young AOC Corbières on the hillsides. Mainly Grenache Noir, Syrah and more recently Carignan which is well found in the vines of the village of Férals.
Delphine Maymil (the daughter of Jean and Anne Marie) and her companion Eric Virion continue the work brilliantly. Since 1999, the estate has been managed in sustainable agriculture according to the specifications of the Vitealys label.
The vines are facing south, on clay-limestone slopes.
Yields at Corbières Mayandie vary between 25 and 45 hl / ha, a guarantee of quality !!
