The Domaine de la Romanée-Conti owns 25 hectares of vineyards in the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. The grand cru of “Romanée-Conti” on its 1,8050 hectares is entirely the property of the domain and as such may mention the word “monopoly” on its labels. The size of this monopoly has not changed one iota since the mid-19th century.
