Prieuré Saint Jean de Bébian
The Prieuré de Saint Jean de Bébian wine estate covers 32 hectares
These 32 hectares are divided into 43 plots on the foothills of the Cévennes, in the Coteaux du Languedoc area classified as Cru Pézenas. In the 1970s, the Saint Jean de Bébian estate reworked its grape variety plan by retaining old Mediterranean plants (cinsault, carignan) which it associated with grape varieties such as syrah and grenache. These vines are now 40 years old. Since 2004, Karen Turner, who comes to us from Australia, has been offering sensual, gourmet, powerful Languedoc wines to drink or keep.
