Calvados Château du Breuil

In the heart of the Pays d'Auge, Calvados Château du Breuil

The Château du Breuil with its half-timbering and pink tiles, is one of the finest examples of Normandy's architectural heritage. Lechâteau is classified as a historical monument. Built in the 16th and 17th centuries, large families stayed there such as the Bouquetots, the Montgomerys, the Bence.

Since 1954, Château du Breuil has been one of the finest Calvados distilleries. Amateur, you must have tasted old Calvados or pommeaux from Château du Breuil! Located near Lisieux in the heart of the Pays d'Auge, this distillery offers calvados marked by wood, the 12-year-old Clavados Château du Breuil is perfectly representative of the style of the house.
