Domaine Michelot Meursault
The 6th generation officiates at the head of the Michelot Meursault Estate
Formerly Mestre Michelot, currently the estate covers 19 hectares. The vines are cultivated in reasoned culture with a lot of plowing, and the treatments are limited. Each plot is grassed, this grassing produces water stress on the vine which forces the root system to plunge into the soil. The harvest is done manually and a strict sorting takes place on the table in the vineyard.
Aging in barrels (15% new barrels) lasts between 10 to 12 months in barrels, then the wines are blended for 5 to 6 months in vats in order to obtain good homogeneity.
