Château Angélus is a premier grand cru classified A

This very high class Saint Emilion alone sums up what a Grand Vin should be. The daring choice of Hubert de Boüard de Laforest and his team to favor Cabernet Francs on a fairly exceptional terroir results in an exceptional wine. The perfectly balanced limestone / clay composition perfectly drains the soil, the amphitheater situation concentrates the heat of summer and gives grapes that are ripe early. All this gives an Angelus style made of density, freshness, flexibility, all carried by a perfect maturity whatever the vintage.

Did you know ? Château Angélus owes its name to the three churches of the medieval city of St Emilion
