Description
Its terroir and production:
It benefits from the Dizi terroir in the heart of the Champagne vineyards, the picturesque village of Hautvillers and Champillon on the slopes of the Reims mountain. Its blend of 85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Noir is typical of this terroir. It is harvested by hand and vinified in the traditional Champagne way in stainless steel vats. It is the Pinot Noir, vinified as a red wine and added during maceration, that gives it its pretty rosé colour. It is then aged for 36 months on its lees.
The nose of this brilliant, deep rosé elixir gives off aromas of blackcurrant and blackberry with fullness and depth. On the palate, the beverage is fleshy and fresh, underlined by aromas of fresh red fruit. It goes very well with a red fruit dessert or as a summer aperitif.
