Saransot Dupré Listrac Médoc

Château Saransot Dupré has been a Cru Bourgeois Supérieur since 2003

The Raymond family has run this Listrac Médoc château with a masterful hand since the end of the 19th century. It is Yves Raymond Oenologist by training who is at the head of the castle and he benefits from the long experience of his family's Listrac Médoc vineyard. The estate's vines extend over 15 hectares. Something rare enough to be highlighted in Médoc, Merlot is the majority grape followed by Cabernet Sauvignon. A plot is planted with Carménère, this pre-phylloxeric grape variety which gives a particular structure and pronounced spicy notes.

The Raymond family also operates Château Pérac in Listrac Médoc in addition to Château Siaurac.
